Hello Wendy,

Have you just tried one DVD? As you said you just got a short tune from it in Audio Extractor I'm wondering whether there's something wrong with that DVD.

What software players have you tried?

Could you tell us the exact steps you take when trying to play it?

Catherine

Subject: [access-uk] DVD PLAYER

I have been trying to play a DVD on my PC using DVD Audio Extractor, but
whatever I do the thing won't play. All I get is a little tune, and then
nothing.

I have tried various software, but must be a right thicko, as I can't get
any of them to work to my satisfaction.

What I really want is a DVD player which is accessible to a totally blind
person, has simple controls and a remote that isn't rows of tiny buttons
with no indication of what they do. I bought a portable player a while ago, but didn't find it all that successful. I don't have a TV, only the Portset
Media Centre, so need a separate DVD player.

Can anyone recommend anything?

Wendy
