Andy

Many thanks. I'll give it a go later, but The Last Night of the Proms will
soon be on, so I'm not starting anything until much later tonight, or maybe
tomorrow.

Wendy, here is what I do; I don't press the refresh button:

1. Insert the disk in the drive.

2. Open DVDAudioExtractor.

3. tab until I hear I am in the title list.

4. Using the arrow keys, select the title to play [usually the first one.]

5. Tab again to the play button and hit space bar.

This should now play the selected title.

You will see other tabs where you can change language, or look for audio
description, but this is the way the programme works for me, if I just want
to play the disk.

HTH -

Andy

|I have tried Power DVD.
|
| What I do with DVD Audio Extractor is launch the program, then put the DVD
| into the drive, then press the refresh button, then press play. Pressing
| play several times only gets the introductory little tune.
|
| I have JAWS 6 and XP Home.

| Hello Wendy,
|
| Have you just tried one DVD? As you said you just got a short tune from
it
| in Audio Extractor I'm wondering whether there's something wrong with that
| DVD.
|
| What software players have you tried?
|
| Could you tell us the exact steps you take when trying to play it?
|
| Catherine
