An mp3 file on the website would do.

If it uses the same drivers as on the Evoke 2 then it should sound pretty
good considering it's size. It is good to see such a device make it to
market some 5 years or so after initial proofs of concept had been discussed
with other manufacturers.

I'm intrigued about the iVox speech, does anyone know about it? I'd like to
hear it as perhaps many prospective customers would. In fact it would be a
nice "techy" but relevant article for In Touch being a radio and all that.

Hi Tristram,

And from that picture, for those who can't see it, it's exactly like the
Evoke 1. However, I seem to remember that they have improved their speaker
drivers since those early days. And, of course, the Sonus also has a
clock/alarm on board.

Cheers now.

Ian

I Found this adjunct to the simply radios website which has more info,
picture and a fairly impressive price of £120: http://www.simplyradios.net/

Hi Ian,

When ordering batteries from Tapesense a couple of days ago, I was told by
the person that took my order that they will be selling a DAB radio such as
the one you mentioned. Anyone in the market for one of these would do well
to contact them.

Best.

Robert.

DAB digital radio enthusiasts who've been awaiting the arrival of a talking
set will be heartened by visiting

There is another press release concerning the Sonus1XT set, the link to
which I'll post anon.

Cheers now.
