It’s not perfect that not all programmes audio described on live TV appear on
Iplayer and I also want them to fix it. However we should bare in mind that the
other TV channels don’t offer any audio description on their on demand
services. One thing I would like from Iplayer is for us to turn on an option
for it to play audio described versions of programmes by default when they are
available rather than having to select to go to the audio described version.

Yes Chris. Many time they (forget) to make the AD version available of some
programs online. In the beebs defence, if you drop them a line they usually
rectify the error within 48 hours or at least that's my experience. On the
iPlayer site click on contact us, then find the link that says FAQ, click it
and toward the end of that page find the contact us link again to open their
contact form. Sorry if this is obvious but I had to fish for this contact form
on the iPlayer site a couple times before. They keep it well hidden you know!

  Hello all.
I am concerned with the BBC iPlayer service. I currently rely on this
until I get a television and a digital box.
It would appear that the BBC audio describe almost every single live
program. It also appears that this is not the case on iPlayer. Please,
why is this, because I don't think it's fair for those who rely on
iPlayer or simply enjoy catching up for some reason.
Take care and sorry for the rant.
