Hi Carol Thanks for this. Its been a bit frustrating trying to get this connected as I've been deleting the settings and trying different permutations. There shouldn't be a problem in getting it connected to our wireless set up, but it seems that as the BN says its connected it just comes straight off-line. Cheers Ian. iancbev@xxxxxxxxxxx -----Original Message----- From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Carol Pearson Sent: 18 September 2006 15:41 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: BrailleNote and the Internet Hi Ian, Good to see you <Smile> What do you mean by "It goes so far and then just drops out?" If you're using a WEP key, you need to enter this in the BN exactly as written. Most other things can usually be left on defaults. If you've been playing around for a while to make this connection, it may be that you have to delete the connection and start again as sometimes they just "go bad" on the BN for no good reason. Write privately if you think I can help some more. -- Carol carol.pearson@xxxxxxxxxxxx ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ian Beverley" <iancbev@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, September 18, 2006 3:29 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: BrailleNote and the Internet > Hi Mark > Cheers for this. > I've left mine on defaults now and it just goes so far and then drops out. > Cheers > Ian. > Mark Matthews writes: >> HI Ian. >> First of all, Wep is indeed the password you use to access your Wireless >> Internet.
