wHEN RECORDING A PROGRAM FOR SOMEONE i HAD TO SPLIT THE RECORDINGS AFTERWORDS because it wouldn't play with the AD chanel included in anything other than the Nebular DigiTV software. This is only a thought but would it be possible to murge the two files in something like Goldwave and if so would it be worth your time.

Hi Barry.

I don't honestly know. I assume it will only convert what actually plays as it uses windows media player to play the file and then digitally records the content played to an mp3 file. If you play the file yourself and you get the audio described track, then that is what you will get when you convert it. If not then I guess it won't.

All the best, Ibrahim

Will it take the audio description track as well - I thought that I had picked up somewhere that this was the problem with the conversion - I'll be delighted to hear if it does!

Hi Barry.

If you download and buy something like sound taxi, this should do the honours and convert your mpg collection in to mp3 format for your stream. I know its called sound taxi, but it can also do video if you buy the correct edition.

If anyone has found a way of taking the MPG recording with audio description created by the Nebula DigiTV box and converting it to a format that can be played on something like the Stream could you please share it!!!

I have something like 100+ tv programmes I've recorded and can't be faffed to sit and listen to them at standard speed - I would like to be able to speed them up and listen to them as I go about my day...

Any suggestions gratefully received!

All the best,
Barry G

Hi,

You won't receive audio description on Channel 103 if you don't live in the London area. What you have to do is to switch to ITV London, which is 993.

All the best

Steve
