Dave, Additionally: 1. if you have a Mac you can start the VoiceOver tutorial with Ctrl-Option-Cmd-F8. 2. There is an online guide to VoiceOver for Snow Leopard at http://www.apple.com/uk/voiceover/info/guide/ 3. I have a DAISY download of this guide acquired through the Association for the Blind of Western Australian. I can't remember where I downloaded it from, but can find out if you think you'd like to investigate it. 4. There are two useful mailing lists I know of. Mac VoiceOver is "for those who wish to learn VoiceOver" and is at //www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceover The MacVisionaries list describes itself as the "home of the blind Mac user community". It's at http://groups.google.com/group/macvisionaries/about?hl=en 5. The screenless switchers podcast is another good source. I don't have a link for this, but you can search for it. I am used to using JAWS and have all the shortcuts to applications andfiles set up on my PC desktop. However, on the Mac, things seem a little different. The speed at which it responds to key commands is very impressive. I just need to master the key commands. Any help much appreciated.
