It is my understanding that n.y.c. traffic signals will be switched to
"universal signs", which of course, are of no use to visually impaired
persons, and specifically, my close friend who has severe macular
degeneration. Can National exert any pressure on the d.o.t. here in New York
City? What can I do to press for audible signals? Thank you for your
attention.
