I use the warthog grip on the warbrd, works perfectly!

If you want to arrange your sim gear similarly to what I have (look at the
pictures of my arrangement I sent you some time ago), Warbird base is not so
bad. Of course it has more deflection as mongoose base but if you attach a
longer grip to it like VPC MongoosT-50CM2 grip, you should be fine even
without the extension and still have a feel of steering a real thing. Warthog
grip should also be good but you need to check its compatibility.

unsustainable for a long extension, but a short extension say up to 100mm
might be ok?
