Yikes! I may be a declarative procedural.

Well in this context and put simply,  declarative knowledge is knowing which which buttons to push and all the numbers from the manual while procedural knowledge is knowing how to fly by the seat of your pants :-)

too many syllables for me to be able to work out the difference.  But its certainly a helluva lot easier to dive in at 350mph , drop 6 bombs and run out of AA range AAP.

I think you just described why I prefer flying WW2 aircraft to modern jets, especially when it comes to ground attack  :-)

I don't know if it still exists but there did used to be a virtual airline that ran full international services 24/7 so each member of that  would have had to do the same long flights.

Yes, they're not all locked away. I used to work with a guy who would
take off in his MS Flight Sim Boeing/Airbus, get up to the appropriate
corridor, set autopilot and come to work. 10 hours later he was home in
time to land somewhere in the USA. Seems to me he could have saved the
electricity and run two missions, one at each end in the morning and
evening. btw I'm going back over 10 years and he was watercooling his
Intel cpu and running something like 5GHz even back then.
