However, I largely agree about altitude. It's always tempting to go for a strike mission at cloud base on visibility grounds. In reality, it better to be higher unless the clouds are more continuous.
Diving in on target from ~8000 ft and exiting on the same heading is pretty hard to beat. As we found today.

Our day finished on a bad note as we got shot down low, separated, low on fuel, and altitude beat us to hammer the point home lol.
