It should. One problem that I mentioned was that the settime schedule
didn't work either. And that has nothing to do with the tape drive.
That's what goes out and updates the time on the server. NOTHING that I
schedule seems to work.
I ran a manual backup with the tape drive and that worked just fine, I
don't think it's the driver.
Any other ideas?

I know this is a pretty basic question, but does the program running the
backup have the proper permissions?
