scheduling backups is a pain in the rear. Try Q300960. Q239892 is =
really good too. I has some samples in there you can use to create your =
batch file with. It also has examples of how to skip all that prepare =
the tape crap and just use whatever tape is in the drive.

Subject: [windows2000] ntbackup question

Hi all -
I just bought and installed an Exabyte tape drive (replacing the Seagate
Travan drive) in our Win 2000 server.

I've run a manual backup on it and it appears to work fine.

The problem that I am running into now is that it won't do a scheduled
back up. It says "unable to start", and I am unsure of what is wrong
because it always worked before!

Any ideas?
TIA
Dianna
