Jim, Have emailed you off list with a solution, it's a replacement GINA that set's machine IP address post authentication but pre-desktop/app loading. It's something we're most likely gonna be using here for another reason (admin level proxy server bypassing on local PC's) If anyone else would like info (URL) please let me know. I know that you can have multiple IP's on one machine but I was wondering if anyone has come up with a way to assign a specific IP address to a user once they are logged on if there are multiple ones on the machine. The theory would be that user A would log on and get the 1st IP and User B would log on and get the second IP. You could then use firewall or routing tables to specify what each user could access. I suppose you could probably change the IP in a startup script but the timing would have to be perfect or you would lose your connection. Is there a utility out there that already does this?
