I know this isn't the answer you want - but it might spark ideas. Virtual
PC would do that. Each ends up with there own IP address and MAC address.
That may be the key to look for in a tool.

I know that you can have multiple IP's on one machine but I was wondering if
anyone has come up with a way to assign a specific IP address to a user once
they are logged on if there are multiple ones on the machine.

The theory would be that user A would log on and get the 1st IP and User B
would log on and get the second IP.
You could then use firewall or routing tables to specify what each user
could access.

I suppose you could probably change the IP in a startup script but the
timing would have to be perfect or you would lose your connection.

Is there a utility out there that already does this?
