I'd rather thave to clean up a fine powder than get servers that have been flooded while powered to work again. -----Original Message----- From: Rob Combis [mailto:rcombis@xxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: 13 November 2002 15:35 To: windows2000@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [windows2000] Server Room- Fire Suppression This is off topic, but I have a quick question. We are looking into getting a fire suppression system for our server = room. The architect for the building recommends plain old water via = sprinkler head, not any inert gas or anything. He says water is better = because the inert gas leaves a fine powder behind that is hard to clean = up. I can't believe that water can be any good. Anyone have any = insights?? ================================== To Unsubscribe, set digest or vacation mode or view archives use the below link. http://thethin.net/win2000list.cfm ================================== To Unsubscribe, set digest or vacation mode or view archives use the below link. http://thethin.net/win2000list.cfm
