Keep in mind that most places that opt for sprinklers use hi-temp =
sprinklers... Your server will be incinerated before the water hits...

Subject: [windows2000] Server Room- Fire Suppression

This is off topic, but I have a quick question.

We are looking into getting a fire suppression system for our server =3D
room. The architect for the building recommends plain old water via =3D
sprinkler head, not any inert gas or anything. He says water is better =
=3D
because the inert gas leaves a fine powder behind that is hard to clean =
=3D
up. I can't believe that water can be any good. Anyone have any =3D
insights??
