Hi,

We also have mainly HP printers.  I favour static IP addresses over DHCP
assigned as most of our printers have built in webservers which you can use
to configure various things on the printers.  I specifically gave our
printers static IP addresses using telnet (rather than DHCP reservations) so
that I wouldn't have to re-create DHCP reservations on all of our DHCP
servers.
