Tried gpupdate /force and a reboot. None of which helped. The policy is set as "enforced", so I assume the policy will be forcefully merged with the local policies as expected. The GPO wizards report that the GPO has taken effect, but when looking in the registry, the key that I wanted to change is still unchanged. FWIW, I need some settings in Office 2003 to be set to a default of my choice, and which the users cannot change.
