[windows2000] Re: Policy not taking effect

It is the standard office 2k3 adm-template.

I've seen this kb-article before, and it left me a bit wondering; Which of the
scenarios is preferred if space and badnwidth etc is not a problem, ie the
most universal scenario (foolproof if you wish)?

If it is just the standard office templates we should be able to figure this
out though. Take a look at this MS KB article and make sure that you have set
it up properly

Nope... He wants the actual ADM file that the policy is in.

In the Group Policy Editor, right click on "Administrative Templates"
and select "Add/Remove templates" to see which templates are loaded.

Then, navigate to your %windir%\inf folder, and look for the adm files
there. Attach the office one, or post the text.

If you're using GPMC then if you right click on the policy you should
have save report as an option. You can save as an xml or HTML, is that
what Jim means? JIM??

Cheers

So I figured, only, I don't know what an "admin text file" is.
Terminology problem I think I have here. 8-]

Yes, it's the standard Office 2003 adm-template I'm using. Nothing
custom made, just the out-of-the-box adm-template and then setup with
various things within.
