Post your admin file text so we can take a look Sorin. Is it a TS policy? Does
loopback have to be set for it?

Subject: [windows2000] Policy not taking effect

Hi list,

Do you guys have any idea on what to do when a policy won't take effect?

Tried gpupdate /force and a reboot. None of which helped. The policy is set as
"enforced", so I assume the policy will be forcefully merged with the local
policies as expected.

The GPO wizards report that the GPO has taken effect, but when looking in the
registry, the key that I wanted to change is still unchanged.

FWIW, I need some settings in Office 2003 to be set to a default of my choice,
and which the users cannot change.

BW,

Sorin
