I have been with my present firm for over 5 years. Yes... Doing the job of
anywhere from 3-5 people.
I'm not whining. Just stating simple fact.
It's pretty fast paced around here usually. One of my most frustrating tasks,
was having to explain to upper management why we needed gigabit, or why we need
new servers.
Now, I just do what I know needs to be done. And in doing this, I have found
that it is much easier to ask for forgiveness, rather than permission.
I do like my job. I would have to say that this is definitely the best job I
have ever had. (I'm 43, what's that? 20+ years from retirement?)
But, I am hoping that my screenwriting, or film making will get me the hell out
of here, so I can make what I would consider REAL money.
REAL Money and the time to use it.
I have to get off of my ass though Ray. Ha Ha. Too many eyes.
Hell I don't even have a chair!
