Of course you pay. What kind of world do you want to live in where you
don't?

I'm sorry, did you say Novell? BWAH HA HA HA HA HA HA HAHA HA HA HA
HAHA HA HA AH HA HA AH AHA H AHA HA HA HAHA A HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!!!!!

IBM, I'll give you that. IBM has its place also. Will anyone really
convert their AS/400 hosted DB/2 databases over to SQL Server on a
Windows 2000 Data Center server? Not many. When you need an incredibly
hardcore and powerful DBMS, IBM has one up on Microsoft. And why's
that? Because IBM's system is superior.

If you've never run Win2K or XP for three weeks solid, you're doing
something wrong.

You're doing something wrong.

Any company can market their products. But, if the product isn't good,
the marketing won't matter. Not any company can make good software. If
there is a company that does make excellent software but they don't know
how to market it, that's something that they have to work on. Microsoft
is a rare company that not only has excellent marketing and excellent
business leaders, but they also have excellent developers. I've seen
way too much complete crap purchased as a result of crafty marketing.
THOSE are the companies that should be being sued for fraud, imo.
