[vip_students] internet explorer and add ons problems

Hi again
I'm trying to open a file from a government website and I keep getting the
following message
internet explorer has encountered a problem with an add-on and needs to close.
The following add-on was running when this problem occurred.
Add on name: AcroPDF.dll
Company Name: Adobe Systems Incorporated
Description: Adobe PDF Browser Control
I also had this problem a few weeks ago with the tipperary institute website.
There is an option to learn more about add-ons in the box but my pc freezes at
that point.
Anyone any suggestions. I feel it might be something to do with my firewall or
protection.
