You may want a second opinion before removing anything; and you could try my 
alternative suggestion, see what happens when you just download and try to 
open the file and not in Internet Explorer.  Adobe 7 is better, and more up 
to date, than Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.  (Same company, different branding.) 
Quite a few manuals are in .pdf, so perhaps there are games manuals hiding 
on your computer!?

Hi Flor

I did not pay for any adobe downloads.  They must have been installed when I
got the computer.  I don't remember ever downloading any adobe software.
(I'd blame the kids only I can't imagine adobe being any advantage to
games:)I'm not sure what the difference is between the two.  I just found
them when I looked in control panel.  I will follow your instructions and
let you know of the outcome.
