  Hi Ed!
Don't quite know what you're talking about. What is it that appears in
your emails?
meanwhile here's one from me. A puzzler alright, one that drove me up the
wall over the weekend.
Having had my new laptop for a few days only, I was using Note Pad since I
hadn't installed Office yet.
Repeatedly, the text was displayed backwards. That's to say, while the
lines stayed in order, the text in each line ran from right to left. So I
had to press ctrl-cursor-left from the end of the line, in order to move
forwards through the words.
Unless this has anything to do with the fact that the machine was built in
Japan, I am utterly clueless as to what causes this phenomenon. Guesses
welcome.
  Robbie

  Hi folks,

It doesn't appear in all other emails. it isn't visually on the screen,
well not unless you have to be a psychic and Brigid isn't! and it doesn't
seem to be there if you read word by word.

  Puzzleder and puzzedler

  Ed
