Ciaran, this is great news, and thanks for passing it on! I'm about to test this as I only last week got the new UPC box, and would really like this type of system. It will allow users to schedule recordings over the web or via smartphones. The online web interface (intended for use on mobile devices) is available at: http://m.tv-guide.upc.ie It seems very accessible, at least with IE7 and JFW12 anyway. My box is currently powered off, so can't comment on how easy it is to schedule an actual recording. The desktop version will be accessible via MyUPC at: https://service.upc.ie/cckservices/myupc/ A native iPhone app will be launched in the coming days. Other platforms will have to make do with the mobile version linked to above for now. A valid MyUPC account is required to use the service. I'd be very interested to hear how people find this, it's one of the big advantages Sky had over UPC.
