Hi Tony,

Thought everyone out there was still on their holls!

'No such luck, says you!

Thank you for that step-by-step answer to my query.

This is probably a rhetorical question but I think that you could then for
example open Infovics in any player of choice?
No teasing, but I am off on holliers myself end of week!

Sunshine all the way!!!

Happy days!

Tony Sweeney.

HI Tony,

Open Windows Explorer, and find an MP3 file on your system.

When you've moved on to it with your arrow keys, it will be highlighted.

Press the Applications key, which is the key to the left of your right
Control key.

A context menu will be activated.

Move down this menu until you find "Open With...".

Press Enter here, and a list of programs installed on your machine will be
brought up.

Move down the list, and select Realplayer, Winamp, or whatever you want to
use.

Press your Tab key then, and you will be taken to a Checkbox.

This Checkbox will say something like "Always use the selected program to
open this file type".

Check this box by pressing the spacebar.

Tab until you find the OK button, and press enter on it.

In future all MP3 files you open in future will open in your selected
program.

Repeat the process for WAV files, and any other file types you want to
specify the associated application for.

Best wishes,

Tony
