Barbara:
I don't know why we didn't see any Bluebirds. Only one birdhouse
seemed to be active, and that was being used by Tree Swallows....
However, in the marsh on drive-through loop, there was one very distant tree
that had about a half dozen perching birds, but we were too distant to judge
their size or to distinguish any color--neither with my telephoto camera lens,
nor our 8X binoculars...a nice spotter's scope would have been useful!
Maybe someone else can comment on Bluebirds?
Bill

I can't believe that no Eastern Bluebirds were recorded! That is a bluebird
trail there and I have seen bluebirds there many times. Where do you
suppose they have gone? Maybe in the boxes that time of day?
