Polyphemus Silkmoth - Antheraea polyphemus ?
I tried to let it go and it flew up my pant leg. I tried to be so careful and Clover wanted a look. She was so gentle . Then I put it over the fence so it could be in the open lot next door...James just came in and told me it had come back onto the patio. Sure enough there it was so I put it in my large bug box for now.
