Unfortunately, I don't have a shot from any other angle. I only got two shots
before it took off again.
I did go back to the location after the earlier post. I added another species:
Southern Spreadwing (Lifer) - It appears this may be a county record as well.

Not that I have much experience with this one, but it does appear to be Little
Blue Dragonlet. The cerci should be white, and can't tell that for sure in your
photo. Abdomen seems too narrow and wing markings not there for Blue Corporal,
the closest other possibility can think of, so you should be correct. Do you
have it from any other angles?
That's a good find for middle TN.

Little Blue Dragonlet - Can someone please look at this and confirm identity?
I'm pretty sure it is, but its cerci is not white. (I could find pictures
looking like it on Bugguide.) If my ID is correct, this would apparently be a
county record as it is not noted in Odonata Central or Bugguide.
