The tanager is still in the area, but we hardly see him.
The attempts for birders to see him on Friday and Saturday (25 & 26) were total
busts. He only did a fly-by on Friday. That was the last time we'd seen him
till mid day Tuesday. The Mockingbird is going crazy. He's even chasing the
ground feeders. He didn't even come in early this morning. He no longer comes
first thing in the morning which was the only reliable time.
The month of February was going to be a very difficult time for us to have
visitors. We'll just have to wait and see what happens in March. If he comes
back then, I will post again and see if more of you can see him.
