The Nashville Spring Count took place May 8 on a beautiful, sunny day. Individual species' numbers were low for a lot of birds, but our total of 162 species was the second highest in ten years. Thank you to all who participated. Here are some of the highlights. 1 Pied-billed Grebe Double-crested Cormorant Great Egret Snowy Egret Cattle Egret 1 Blue-winged Teal 2 Northern Shoveler 2 Canvasback 3 Osprey Bald Eagle 1 immature in Cheatham Co.
