Our first hummingbird arrived Ap. 7, two days later than we have had them
arrive the last few years. Today we have one coming to the feeder at the
front of the house and one at the back.
Today also we have first seen White-eyed Vireo, Red-eyed Vireo,
Bluegrey Gnatcatcher, and, unfortunately the first Cowbird. On Monday had
Purple Finches and Pine Siskins, but think they were just stop-overs
because our flocks had stopped coming about two weeks ago. We have seen no
warblers yet. Hope to tomorrow.
