I used to make sure I check the always check the show full menus box in the
customise section of the outlook.. Have seen this hang outlook or word
especially with the older versions of office. You can set via policy or reg
key.

Hi Chris - thanks for the feedback - we use standard roaming profiles (not
mandatory) and problem affects all users, so not profile specific.

Cheers,
Shane

Sounds like a profile issue. If you are using mandatory profiles try
updating the profile. If the servers are the same you could try importing
the Default user profile from a working server. Does the same thing happen
if you have Outlook launched at the time?

Subject: [THIN] Session Freezes When "Send To > Mail Recipient"

Hi All - we have had a problem surface on a few of our Citrix servers since
a recent Presentation Server 4 upgrade, whereby user sessions completely
freeze after selecting "Send To > Mail Recipient" from the context menu
within Windows Explorer. It does not matter what size/type of file is being
sent, and the problem occurs under a local admin account as well. The
entire Citrix session freezes, and only comes to life again by killing the
explorer.exe process. Microsoft Outlook 2000 is used, and is set to default
email client. Windows 2000 server + SP4 + Presentation Server 4. Any
suggestions appreciated.

Cheers,
Shane Rees
