I know...Just thinking of modifying the schema makes me cringe. _____ Brian Claus, MCP, Network+, A+ Network Administrator WESCO Distribution, Inc. 225 West Station Square Drive, Suite 700 Pittsburgh, PA 15219-1122 Phone: 412-454-2412 Fax: 412-454-2540 bclaus@xxxxxxxxxxxxx <mailto:bclaus@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> _____ -----Original Message----- From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Braebaum, Neil Sent: Friday, July 23, 2004 9:59 AM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: OT: Schema modification? or no? Do you mean to say store a fax number with a user object? Then no. A word of caution, too - there's a lot more attributes available in the schema than exposed by either ADU&C or an LDAP browser. If you look in the schema management MMC (be careful!) and browse all the optional attributes that go with different classes of object, you'll likely be quite surprised.
