yes the new one is better but as with any product like this you will see overhead resource wise. As to your question of appstream vs standard AIE, it's toss up and really only you can answer that question. It will really depend on what your looking for. For instance, streaming is a great way to collapse and eliminate silo's. but it will take a bit longer for applications to start.
