Send interesting sightings, complete with species name, location, and contact information to Nate McGowan at natemcgowanbirds@xxxxxxxxx. -Exceptional birds in the circle- The DUSKY-CAPPED FLYCATCHER continued at Pedernales Falls State Park, most recently 11/11. The BROWN BOOBY continued at Windy Point on Lake Travis, *Travis*, most recently 11/12. -Rarities found this week- A CORDILLERAN FLYCATCHER was an outstanding find at Lake Bastrop, *Bastrop*, 11/11. The bird was carefully studied and very well described. It was initially seen on 11/8. A SUMMER TANAGER was late at Platt Lane, *Travis*, 11/8. A HORNED GREBE was found at Windy Point on Lake Travis, *Travis*, 11/9. More than one ROSS'S GOOSE was seen in a flock of flyover Snow Geese at Windy Point on Lake Travis, *Travis*, 11/11. A ZONE-TAILED HAWK was described from Pearce Lane, *Travis*, 11/9 and another from Webberville Park, *Travis*, 11/8. Reports for the Austin area RBA cover a 60 mile radius, centered on the Capitol in downtown Austin. Bird sightings mentioned here have been filtered and scrutinized by the compiler and are believed to be genuine.
