i was using composite connection. and owner was using that too before the 
breakdown of the set, he says that he had only used the set not  more than 
five times. he connected the dvd to line input of vcr to check if he could 
transfer a dvd movie to video tape. the picture was not clean after then, 
and lastly no piture at all.
