Larry,
You can not go by that. Some of those 2SD numbers may be rated lower than the
2SD1651...but still cross to
the same ECG number.
2SD2578 will due for most HOT replacements.

Al, If you look on the same page in the ECG book where you/we found the 2331
theres a whole list of 2SD numbers that cross to 2331, ie, 2SD1553,4,5,6
2SD1844,5,6 2SD1649 etc. etc. Larry E
