This is where having your own website comes in handy.
Also, do NOT enter your every day email address in online forms. Get at least 
two email addresses, one to
use for online forms that you can change when it start to get inundated with 
junk.

My mom had a similar problem where someone had hijacked her e-mail address
and was spamming thousands of people using her return address.  She was
getting bounced messages from old or unused e-mail addresses---thousands.
Her ISP was made aware of the situation and was unable to stop it.  She had
to change e-mail addresses.
