Hi Bob I replaced the 100 mfd cx3416 in the power supply and the set is working fine now I checked the Capacitor for capacity ..leakage and esr..all checked ok but set would not work with it I replaced it with a 50 volt rating as original was 25 volts Thanks for your advice ..it is appreciated Also thanks to Jeff Stieleau Shoreline Electronics for his suggestions Which checked ok.
