I think it might have something to do with color blindness, but not sure.
But to prove the point try to focus a blue CRT  and compare with a Green or
Red CRT and you will see that you can't really focus it,  you adjust it till
the brightness dips and that is the best focus.Its because your eyes just
can not see it as plain as R or G
