Make sure you soldered the aft transformer pins, Thats where the problem
lies for this condition. Also, the tuners have this problem as well.

Sony TV
Model: KV2780R
Tuning(picture and sound) is in and out. Pulled the IF pack and resoldered
the grounds and other various connections(think I did them all). No help.
Anyone have any info on this set? TIA!
