Well FIRST...IF you disconnect the IHVT's wire from the SPLITTER, you're losing the feedback regulation on MOST Sony PTV's....... See that little gray wire coming off the Splitter? There's your feedback/regulation wire...NEVER EVER DISCONNECT THAT WIRE AND FIRE UP THE PTV...unless you like Blown CRTs. Since you probably removed the IHVT's wire from the splitter the CRTs should be ok. Next, re-install the IHVT's HV wire, get out your scope, monitor the gray wire's maximum voltage level and compare it to the dc levels on the feedback line, OR you can check the pre-drive circuits on the HV output circuit.
