Thank you for responding so quickly.
He just called and it will be here tomorrow. he said it's about 4 yrs 
old, and he spent around 5 thousand on it. I said it will be a very 
expensive repair and may come close to replacen\ment cost but he wanted 
it looked at anyway. I assume Sony will work with me as an independent 
servicer on this as far as providing the CRTs,etc.
