Jerry Anything mechanical that would affect the timing could be at fault. It
could even be slight wear and tear on a number of mechanical parts where
individually each is not that bad but taken as a whole add up to problems.
with a VCR after spending that much effort on an intermittent, do you really
want to take a chance and proclaim it fixed if it works 4 times in a row or
say 6 times , 10 times, it will likely be back biting you. With what a
replacement is worth and what your time is worth is it worthwhile taking the
chance on a vcr that has a fault that is not straight forward. Just
wondering. Have a good Columbus day. Peter K Keith's Stereo Burlington

Cassette goes in and down, then ejects. After you fool with it for a while,
casette goes in and down and then wont eject. Fool with it some more and
then it starts working properly. Next day, same thing. Have changed sensor
LED, checked end sensor operation and power supply voltages, refurbed
mechanism switch. This model not on Samsung Web site.
