Barry, HOT was shorted, didn't ring the flyback yet, but I did sub
BUH517 with a 2SD1885 for test purposed, I heard two snaps on when I hit
the "ON" button. I think the flyback may be bad on this one, do you have
any kicking around the shop? I will check +B again. Thanks for the info.

check hot and 140 volt diode and resolder drive xformer, after removing
hot
if B+ is over 200 volts in standby,check the feed back in the regular
circuit.Flyback is unlikely.
