Observe the fuse filiment at turn on(may need a magnifier). Bet you see it squirm. Problem is on the convergence board. Resolder everything in sight. There is a replacement STK that, according to Pioneer is identical to the origional in every way, except for the way the leads attach internally. It's supposed to cure this. Order STK392-180.
