Using a dishwasher, I've powered up boards within 3 days.....only because I
worry about trapped water too....but I had one I actually powered up after
24 hours, and it worked fine..
It's the heat/drying cycle that drives out the water, but I only let it run
for 5 minutes afterwards.

| This sounds like the best method. Remember, it may take days for the water
to eventually evaporate from
| under transformers and surface mount IC's.

| Run them through a dishwasher. Formula 409 Glass and Surface cleaner (the
| purple formula) is mostly isopropanol, water, and some surfactants and
works
| very well to clean boards without attacking the enamel on coils, the seals
| on caps, etc.
|
| Don't hesitate to ask for help if there is anything we can do from long
| distance. We were lucky with all the storms.
